Respite services are available for carers

If you have found yourself saying no to social events, not getting enough exercise or losing touch with your own sense of well-being because you are a carer for an older frail person, or someone living with dementia, then you will benefit from accessing respite services so you can have more time for you.

Respite care is a service to help carers find a balance between caring for others and caring for themselves.  Available in your home or at a dedicated centre, this service gives carers the chance to attend to everyday activities, work or go on a planned holiday.

Southern Plus offers a range of flexible respite options to suit you and your loved one’s needs, either in-home, at one of our respite centres or short-term respite in one of our residential care homes.
