In December of 2017 a community of interested women from the northern suburbs of Perth came together to form a friendship group for themselves and other local women.
The purpose of the meeting was to create a welcoming and private place of safety and connection for women in our community as a means of reducing the social isolation that so many of us, especially older women living alone face with the ultimate aim of strengthening ourselves, our families and our communities by building self-confidence, foster respect for ourselves and others.
