Aiming to put a smile on the faces of many The Honey B’s formed in July 2015 where they started singing at nursing homes to give back to the older generation and bring smiles to the faces of the residents.
An all female “Andrews sister’s style harmony quartet” The Honey B’s members include Kiri Ruffin, Katie McMahon, Sharelle Walker and Sue Summers.
Performing classic songs from the 1930s to the 1970s they have a wide repertoire from wartime classics to The Beatles.
“It is extremely rewarding when the residents start singing along with us taking their minds back to happy days and reliving the memories from yesteryear.” said Sharelle Walker.
Sharelle Walker said they perform regularly at nursing homes and aged care facilities as well as retirement villages, milestone birthday parties, high tea’s, Christmas parties, anniversaries but can cater songs to meet the needs of your private function.
