How To Manage Menopause With Exercise

MENOPAUSE CAN BE MANAGED. IT DOES NOT NEED TO BE ENDURED.

Chronic Care Australia’s 12-week exercise medicine program helps reduce menopause symptoms and supports all aspects of your health during what can be a challenging time.

Despite not formally being a chronic condition, menopause can have a significant impact on mental and physical health – and change the trajectory of a woman’s post menopause quality of life significantly. For some women it passes unnoticed but for others it marks the beginning of severe weight gain, poor mental health, poor cognitive function, joint pain and soft tissue related chronic injuries, such as frozen shoulder and achilles tendinopathy.

At Chronic Care Australia (CCA) we want to better understand your experience of menopause and offer evidence-based treatment that improves your quality of life throughout what can be a 5 to 10-year process of transition.

We want you to be accurately informed on best practice management and ensure you have the information you need to optimise the quality of your life.

Prescribed Medicine.

The impact of prescribed exercise as medicine programs on mental and physical health during menopause can be highly effective. Re-occurring injury, weight gain, anxiety and depression symptoms, poor sleep, hot flushes and fatigue can all be managed when a well prescribed exercise medicine program is adhered to.

We want to empower women in making informed decisions about their mental and physical health at this demanding time in their lives.
