Despene Clarke

Despene Clarke has had a varied career in local media including print, television and radio. She began her media work at The West Australian newspaper after completing a Bachelor degree at WAIT, now Curtin University. Her newspaper experience included court reporting, general reporting and feature writing. She edited and wrote for a number of the newspaper's lifestyle supplements and has contributed to national magazines including Woman's Day. She frequently appeared as a guest commentator on a number of television programs on both Channel Seven and Channel Nine. Despene left The West Australian to pursue opportunities in radio on 6PR and 6IX and to spend more time with the family. More recently she has worked in marketing and public relations.
