Karen Knowles presents Songs & Stories of Australia—a personal and joyous celebration of the music that unites us. Featuring timeless songs from Judith Durham, Olivia Newton-John, Archie Roach, and other cherished artists, this event promises to bring joy and celebration, connecting us deeply to the land we call home.
Join Karen on this unity tour, singing for and with Australian audiences and promoting a sense of togetherness among all people and creation. Secure your tickets early for this one-night-only event. Karen, who toured with The Seekers as their lead singer in the early 1990s, has been enchanting audiences with Olivia’s music since her early teens on television.
Karen’s commitment to reconciliation since the 1990s has seen her perform I Am Australian at national events. Profoundly inspired by Archie Roach’s expression of connection to country songs from her travels, some of her own music will also be part of this uplifting performance (from recent albums Solid Ground and Sanctuary).
Karen will perform curated classics like I Honestly Love You, Let Me Be There, I‘ll Never Find Another You, Morningtown Ride, Carnival Is Over, Under the Milky Way Tonight, as well as Archie Roach’s Native Born and One Song, and her own heartfelt song Belong.
Songs & Stories of Australia offers a heartfelt and emotional opportunity to come together, celebrating the power of people, songs, and stories that shape our lives and remind us of what truly matters.
Join Karen on Saturday September 21 at 7.30pm at the Subiaco Arts Centre for this magical evening of unity and unforgettable music. This will be a concert to cherish!
