WIN: It takes a bear to catch a thief!

Everyone’s favourite bear is back this Christmas in the highly anticipated family film PADDINGTON 2.

Jayson Mansaray – is he the thief of aunt Lucy’s present?

The film’s plot centres on Paddington Bear working odd jobs so he can buy his Aunt Lucy the perfect 100th birthday gift, but when the present he had in mind is stolen he finds himself in trouble.

World Premier of Paddington 2, London November 5 2017

London Calling columnist Jayson Mansaray was lucky enough to attend the world premier in London and meet some of the cast on the red carpet.

Jayson interviewed the stars of the film including Hugh Grant, Julie Walters, Hugh Bonneville and Ben Whishaw about the upcoming film.

Hugh Bonneville told Jayson, “Well I having grown up with the books, the stories were really special to me. And he became important to me because they were the first books that I read for myself. And so Paddington and I were great pals in my early years.”

Paddington is now happily settled with the Brown family in Windsor Gardens, where he has become a popular member of the community, spreading joy and marmalade wherever he goes.

Julie Walters said Paddington is so popular as it’s utterly uplifting as the film centres on the goodness of people and inclusiveness and love in the community.

Ben Whishaw who plays Paddington

Ben Whishaw who plays our favourite bear Paddington told Jayson, “…there is a thing about embracing outsiders and people who are more in need and vulnerable. But essentially I think it’s a really light-hearted funny beautiful film without anything too heavy.”

Paddington 2 is a magical story that the whole family will enjoy and who better to believe then Julie Walters: “It is what we need because there is an awful lot of the other in the world at the moment.”
