Stargazing events to participate in around WA

Holiday Telescopes and Stargazing

Get to grips with telescopes and stargazing in one night. Astronomy is a great hobby and this class will have you seeing stars in no time! Jupiter, Saturn and the Moon will be some of the targets on the night. All are welcome and you don’t need a telescope to join in.

5pm-8.30pm, Saturday 5th October. Carine Hall, Carine. $115 for telescope owners, $35 adults (without a telescope), $25 children (recommended for 10-16 years). Book at www.stargazersclubwa.com.au.

Starry Pinnacles Spring Adventure

If you’ve ever dreamed of standing under the stars at The Pinnacles just near Cervantes, here’s your chance! The telescopes will be out in force to show visitors this special view of the stunning Milky Way. Mini talks from local Park Rangers and Astrophysicists will also be on offer. This is a Spring into Parks event.

6pm-8.30pm, Saturday 19th October. The Pinnacles, Nambung National Park. $25 adults, children free, $15 for car entry to The Pinnacles.
