Join other passionate walkers as our community raises funds and awareness for people living with dementia at Alzheimer’s WA’s Walk to Remember — a community event celebrating movement, memory, and connection on Sunday, November 9 at Sir James Mitchell Park, South Perth. Registration from 3:00 PM and the Walk starts at 4:30 PM.
The walk invites participants to choose their challenge — 1km, 3km, or 5km — in honour of those who have walked beside us, those who cannot walk for themselves, and those we remember with love.
Come and enjoy the sense of community at this family and pet friendly event with Food Trucks and Entertainment from 6:00 PM.

Funds raised will support Alzheimer’s WA’s mission to advocate for and improve the lives of the 40,000 Western Australians living with dementia, including those supported in their homes, communities, and aged care settings.
“Dementia is a lived experience, and with more than 60% of people living with dementia in their own homes, it is vital to have the support of local communities.”
“Alzheimer’s WA has been fortunate to have amazing community support in its 40+year history. With ongoing support, we can continue to provideessential services and improved facilities for people living with dementia in Western Australia,” says Ella Dachs, CEO, Alzheimer’s WA.
The event is suitable for all ages and fitness levels, with entertainment, food trucks, coffee vans, and a Pet Parade to celebrate our furry companions. Children, families, and pets are warmly welcomed.
With the dedication of our walkers, Alzheimer’s WA aims to raise over $100,000 to enhance the lived experience of people on the dementia journey — including carers, families, friends, and support networks.

Entry is just $35 per person, which includes a Walk to Remember T-shirt and water bottle. Kids under 12 can walk for free.
Every step counts. Every dollar helps. Together we’re building a dementia friendly WA.
