Avoid Perth petrol price rise
The average price of unleaded petrol is set to increase by over 12 cents per litre (cpl) to 153.9 cpl tomorrow, so FuelWatch is encouraging Perth drivers to fill up today to save money.
FuelWatch advises that on Tuesday 13 November 2018, most Coles Express sites are increasing their ULP price to 159.9 cpl (hiking by 19.4 cpl). Most 7-Eleven, BP, Caltex and Puma sites are increasing their ULP price to 155.9 cpl, all Caltex Woolworths sites to 152.7 cpl and many United sites to 154.7 cpl.
Perth’s weekly petrol price cycle results in prices, on average, being cheapest on Sunday and Monday and at their most expensive on Tuesday and Wednesday – that’s why FuelWatch recommends filling up today.
If you need to fill up tomorrow, use FuelWatch as there are still 20 sites selling below 141 cpl. The difference between the highest and lowest priced sites is 28 cpl, which means you can save up to $16 on a 60 litre tank of fuel.
Monday’s cheapest ULP is available for:
131.4 cpl at Puma High Wycombe in the East;
129.8 cpl at Puma Atwell in the South; and
129.8 cpl at Puma Landsdale in the North.
Tuesday’s cheapest ULP will be available for:
136.9 cpl at Vibe Toodyay Rd (Gidgegannup) and Vibe Mt Helena in the East;
132.8 cpl at Shell Fresh Trading Co Ascot and Shell Fresh Trading Co Welshpool in the South; and
133.5 cpl at Better Choice Tuart Hill in the North.
