ANZAC Day 2020: Driveway Dawn Service

As we approach the first ANZAC Day since WWII without a traditional Dawn Service RSLWA is committed to honouring our ANZACs, veterans and fellow Australians, by leading a unique Driveway Dawn Service.

Thousands of West Aussies are anticipated to participate in the initiative by standing at the end of their driveways, or on their balconies, at 6am this ANZAC Day and tuning in to a number of radio stations that will stream The Last Post, The Ode and a one minute’s silence.

From 6.30am RSLWA will stream a special commemoration service on its website (www.rslwa.org.au/commemoration/anzac-day/) and Facebook page featuring messages from Governor of Western Australia, Kim Beazley AC; Premier Mark McGowan; Senator Linda Reynolds CSC; and RSLWA State President, Mr Peter Aspinall AM.
