The global authority on record-breaking achievements, announces that GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS 2025 (GWR2025) is now available in stores and online across Australia.
Looking ahead to their 70th anniversary in 2025, Guinness World Records opens a new chapter of record breaking with the latest edition of their famous annual. Amongst its 2,115 records are an array of new, talented individuals that show what incredible looks like across the world today.

The record-breaking Australian superstars revealed today include:
● Donna Urquhart – Longest polar ultramarathon on foot (female) 1, 402.21km
● Peter Charlesworth – Longest journey by stand up paddleboard (SUP) 2,677.34 km
● Nicholas Manning – Most underpants pulled on in one minute 44 *and two other records
International record-holders include:
● BONNIE AND SIMBA (UK) – Fastest time to complete 10 side leapfrog jumps by two dogs – 16.78 seconds and three other titles
● ERIC KILBURN Jr. (USA) – Largest hands and feet on a teenager – hands: 23.20 cm (9.13 in), feet: 34.30 cm (13.50 in)
● SUDHA CARS MUSEUM (IND) – Largest collection of wacky vehicles in a museum – 57
What you’ll find featured in the book is they are celebrating a landmark year by bestowing platinum-grade ICON status on a select group of record breakers – including Taylor Swift and LeBron James – who epitomise what it means to be a Guinness World Records title holder.
Poster-style Flashback features within each chapter explore the history of one key record category. Also speculated is the ultimate limits of record-breaking – for instance, will we ever see a sub-3-second Rubik’s Cube solve?
