Chinese stir fry with plums

Serves: 4


  • 6 plums, halved and stone removed
  • 250g beef strips
  • 3 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 3 cm ginger, grated
  • 2 bunches bok choy, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • ¼ cup plum sauce


Heat oil in wok or frying pan over high heat.
Cook beef until well browned on both sides.
Add garlic, ginger and bok choy.
Stir fry until bok choy is just cooked, adding soy sauce when required.
Add plums and plum sauce, and gently stir until plums are warmed through.
Serve immediately with noodles or rice.
