Then join the Oz Harvest Kids Cooking for a Cause event running on Thursday July 17 in Victoria Park.
This interactive event is a wonderful way for grandparents and families to connect, learn, and give back to the community.
Kids and their grandparents, parents or guardians will cook with rescued ingredients, learning zero-waste cooking tips while preparing delicious meals that will go directly to people in need.
OzHarvest is a for-impact organisation providing food rescue services and educational programs with the wider purpose of Nourishing Our Country!
When: Thursday July 17; Thursday October 2; or Thursday January 15 2026.
Time: 1pm – 3:30pm
Who: For children aged 8+ (up to 2 kids) and their parent/guardian
Where: OzHarvest kitchen, Connect Vic Park.
Cost: $205 p/adult + 2 children
