Everyone is invited to Santa’s Symphony

People are invited to roll out a picnic rug and enjoy the free Santa’s Symphony in the Park when it returns to Burswood Park on Saturday December 13, featuring a performance by the West Australian Symphony Orchestra (WASO).

The State Government through Burswood Park is proud to provide $330k to fund Perth’s biggest free outdoor concert.

Look forward to WASO and the WASO Chorus performing under the stars at Charles Paterson Park in Burswood Park, delivering a much-loved mix of Christmas favourites and orchestral classics right on the banks of the Swan River.

Don’t miss out on food trucks from 4pm, family activities and fun from 4.30pm and performances on stage from 5.45pm – no tickets are required! Families are encouraged to bring picnic rugs, low chairs and plenty of festive cheer.

Hosted by Genevieve McCarthy and conducted by Jen Winley, the full symphony orchestra will be joined by vocalists Calista Nelmes, Johnny Manuel, Gina Williams and Corinne Cowling for a festive program designed for all ages.

Alongside the orchestral performance, the event will feature food trucks, children’s entertainment and space for riverside picnics, creating a relaxed festival atmosphere for locals and visitors. Accessibility and inclusion remain central to the event, with on-stage AUSLAN interpretation, dedicated viewing areas and clear sightlines across the park to ensure people of all ages and abilities can enjoy the concert.
