WA artists on show in Rockingham

The annual City of Rockingham Art Prize returns to the Rockingham Arts Centre and on display until Sunday 6 July 6.

Due to high demand last year, the exhibition has been extended for an additional week.

The exhibition features the work of 76 emerging to established Western Australian artists across a variety of mediums, including painting, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, photography and mixed media.

An Artists’ Floor Talk will be held on Saturday June 21 at 2pm. Join curator Sandra Murray, winning artists and judges as they highlight various artworks in the exhibition.

Visit the website to see a list of participating artists. The talk is free, but bookings are encouraged.

After seeing the exhibition, vote for your favourite artwork for a chance to win the $200 Voter’s Prize. Terms and conditions apply.

The exhibition is free to enter and is at the Rockingham Arts Centre, 11 Kent Street, Rockingham and open from Wednesday to Sunday 10am to 4pm. Suitable for all ages.
