Review: Joey Page Pretty Boy!

Joey Page is the quintessential English comedian with his quick wit, self-deprecating humour, incredibly diverse and imaginative stories and a canny way of intertwining jokes throughout the show.

It’s like having a dose of English TV shows such as The Mighty Boosh, The IT Crowd and game shows like Never Mind the Buzzcocks (which Joey has starred on) and Would I Lie to You?

I love this type of humour and this was a highly entertaining show.

Joey has an incredible charisma where he seems so excited yet laidback at the same time. His ability to draw the audience in with his eclectic weird and wonderful tales, improvisations and animations of inanimate had the audience laughing hysterically.

During the encore Joey says the best audience member will win a speedboat experience and I was lucky enough to be chosen – but I’ll not spoil the surprise – you’ll have to go see the show to experience it yourself!

With an array of props from a ladder to a helicopter you never know what to expect from this comedian as he shapes incredible stories with his on the spot witty thinking.

Joey Page is an incredible comedian with his weird and wonderful stories, audience participation and improvisation it’s a show not to be missed.
