Faith and Freedom: The music of George Michael

MANDURAH PERFORMING ARTS CENTRE
Saturday, 3 March at 8.00 pm

The Mandurah Performing Arts Centre is thrilled to present Faith and Freedom: The Music of George Michael, a collaboration by the group of WA’s leading talents who brought this sell-out show to life in Western Australia.

Created by the Perth Symphony Orchestra to celebrate the incredible body of work by George Michael, Faith and Freedom: The Music of George Michael will take the audience on a remarkable journey of emotions in a 90-minute scripted show that sheds a new light on some of his best-loved songs from Faith to Careless Whisper, Freedom and I’m Your Man.

Perth Symphony Orchestra has been transforming the way audiences listen to and experience music since 2011.  Performing in iconic and sometimes surprising venues, the PSO plays all styles of music – from Mozart to Metallica and Beethoven to Bjőrk.

The concert will performed by the Perth Symphony strings, drums and percussion conducted by Kohan van Sambeeck and will feature the remarkable Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts Gospel Choir led by Matt Allen.

Scheduled to coincide with the launch of the Mandjar Art Awards 2018, Faith and Freedom: The Music of George Michael, promises to inspire and uplift.  Come along for the art preview (all welcome!) and round off your evening with a ticket to one of the most hotly-anticipated shows at MANPAC!
