Christmas festivities returns to Burswood Park

The family favourite Carols in the Park is back and welcoming a host of talent to the Burswood Park foreshore on Sunday 8 December. 

Narrated by Channel 7’s Monika Kos and Graeme Butler, the special Christmas story and carols concert is like no other in Perth featuring camels, a live nativity scene and showcasing a range of local talent. 

There will be a variety of activities at Burswood Park on Sunday 8 December from 4pm including food trucks, face painting, roaming entertainers and also the Optus Stadium Christmas markets a short walk from the Burswood Park Foreshore. 

The program will commence at 6pm with performances by Kids Kompany and “Vinyl Revival” Band. Followed by the Christmas story featuring Melissa Crothers as Mary and carols commencing from 7.30pm with the WA Talent School, Canning City Brass Band, Perth Metro Pipe Band, Wanneroo Civic Choir and ‘Take Note’ Singers. 

Guests are invited to pack a picnic or choose from one of the food trucks available for a bite to eat. Song books and candles will also be available by donation.
