We meet every 1st and 3rd Tuesday evening of each month (February to December) in North Fremantle. The Club holds an educational evening on the first Tuesday and the Club's competition evening is held on the third Tuesday. Special events are also held such as weekday and weekend field trips.
The typical meeting involves everybody turning up and greeting / chatting to each other. This is a great time for new members to introduce themselves. The committee will make a few announcements and introduce the session.
The Mundaring Camera Club (formerly, Swan Hills Photographic Society & The Swan Districts Camera Club) was formed in 1960 and has continued over the years to be a meeting place for those interested in photography.
Our monthly meetings set aside a short time for business, then we move on to the main part of the evening which incudes our monthly competition for print and projected images.
We may also have a guest speaker to talk about an aspect of photography. We meet at other times for workshops and other photography related outings. Visitors are welcome to come along to a couple of meetings before deciding to join up.
Our monthly meetings are the 2nd Tuesday of each month @ The Hub, 8 Craig Street, Mundaring. Doors open @ 7.15pm. Entry to building from rear car park.
We meet at 7:30pm on the first and third Mondays of each month, except December.
The first Monday of the month is a workshop night where we have talks, discussions and teamwork for photographic learning.
The third Monday of the month is our competition night where we present our images for a judge. Members arrive earlier than normal starting time to enter their images and set up the exhibition for the evening. We plan to start the judging as soon after 7:30pm as we can.
Meets second Tuesday of the month for viewing and discussing members videos & outings
The Workshop Camera Club meets every Wednesday night at 7:30PM. Meetings are held at the Canning Arts Centre on the corner of High Road and Riley Road, Riverton from the end of January until the end of November each year.
