Karen Majer

Karen Majer is passionate about conservation and living in harmony with the earth's resources. A writer with a background in science, media, sustainability and climate change, she retired ten years ago and followed the dream to Margaret River where she is active in several volunteer community organisations. Her current project is building a nearly 9-star sustainable strawbale home in the Witchcliffe Ecovillage. She is married with two adult sons, and a dog and cat who rule the house. Karen has been writing for Have a Go News since 2007.
